Mindfulness

A Global Movement of Peace

What is Mindfulness?

MINDFULNESS IS LEARNING TO BE PRESENT, RELAXED, AND WHOLLY SELF ACCEPTING.

Mindfulness is a proven method of learning to be more self aware and present in your daily moments. It is learning to cultivate a more peaceful, self compassionate inner world through self awareness, introspection and self acceptance. Mindfulness teaches us about being more relaxed and emotionally resilient, so thtat we are able to navigate the full spectrum of human experience, and allow ourselves the freedom to be our nature.

TO LEARN TO OBSERVE THE MIND WITHOUT NEGATIVE SELF TALK, IS A HUGE RELIEF.

These Courses are an introduction to understanding the workings of the mind and how to relieve the stress, anxiety and pressure of an overthinking mind. It shares proven tools which can change the nature of our relationship to the thoughts and emotions that can take up so much headspace.

The mind has a natural negative bias, it likes to be our own internal bully and it likes to worst-case simple situations. This can be transformed as we dissolve the illusion of the mind being ‘who we are’, and learn to observe with curiosity, accepting our feelings as perfectly okay, rather than push uncomfortable feelings away. Only then can they be held in loving acceptance and eventually dissolve, or be healed.

MINDFULNESS TEACHES US TO EMBRACE THE FULL SPECTRUM OF BEING HUMAN, EVEN THE UNCOMFORTABLE BITS. IT CULTIVATES A PEACEFUL, EMOTIONALLY WISE SELF RELATIONSHIP.

Mindfulness is learning to be present, and learning to be present, is the greatest gift you will give yourself and your family/friends. As this builds self awareness you will learn to catch the minds tricks and become more easily able to let go of ‘internal mind stories’ without resistance.

‘MINDFULNESS TOUCHES THE WHOLE WORLD. AS WE HEAL OUR INNER CONFLICT, OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES BENEFIT GREATLY. REALITY REFLECTS THIS PEACEFUL STATE OF BEING. AS WITHIN, SO WITHOUT.’

Participant Reflections

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on mindfulness and your life experiences with us. It has been very much appreciated. It has certainly changed my way of thinking and the way I deal with all aspects of my life. I have a very busy and sometimes stressful job and I have noticed the last couple of weeks I am more at peace within myself and no longer carrying my stress from work around with me all the time thanks to your introduction into mindfulness.

Thank you once again for what has been a life changing experience and the beginning of a new journey for me.

Course Feedback

Elisha has put together the perfect combination for healing and inner awareness, at her retreat. The peace you feel as you drive into her home, the knowledge she shares and then the skills she teaches you over the day all make for a truly magical day. I’m so grateful that I went!

I attended Elisha’s mindfulness course today at her beautiful retreat. It was such an amazing experience, where I learnt how to disconnect from the busyness life has to offer and reconnect with my inner self. Elisha has given me so many tools to assist in my healing journey. Lyrebird retreat is the perfect place to embark on this journey as it has the perfect outlook and is so peaceful. I am looking forward to continuing on this journey with Elisha over the coming years.
